I meant to write this review some months ago..... I actually purchased my LEAF from another dealer however I have always seen Hamilton EVs helping out in the online EV community and they get such great compliments from other LEAF owners that I decided to pop in just to say, "Hi" on my way through Hamilton. My one regret now is that we didn't buy our LEAF from them! We had such a good chat and they even fitted our car with strut caps for free! I'm am sorely tempted to drive to Hamilton yearly just to have our service and WOF done by them! Such a good group of people doing right by the EV community and the environment! When it comes time to move our beloved LEAF on, I know who I'm getting our next EV from!

Took my car in needing WOF in a hurry and was booked in the next day. WOF plus service completed in an hour and a half, free of charge.??

Without pressure they helped me discover what electric vehicles are really like. The one I bought is like a magic carpet. Late 2022 I upgraded to a beautiful anniversary blue ZE1 model Leaf with a 40 kWh battery rated as 12 bar, so practically a new battery. However, as the months went by I had the uneasy feeling that I wasn't getting the 200+ km range displayed after charging to 80%. A Leafspy graph showed a weak cell and a careful drive showed the range to be down to only 70 km. Hamilton EV asked me to bring it in asap and quickly confirmed the weak cell, found it couldn't be simply swapped so fitted a new battery at no charge under warranty. I couldn't be happier with my "NEW" car.

Great to take my 40 kw Nissan Leaf back to Hamilton EV after 12 months and get a free WOF and service as promised. Got a quick touch-up on some minor scratches at a reasonable price as well - thanks Hamilton EV!

I purchased my Nissan Leaf six months ago from Nicholas and his Team. During this time they have cheerfully and promptly answered several queries I have had about the vehicle. Just recently I had a small issue with the radio screen which they fixed free of charge and also rotated the tyres free of charge. These guys go the extra mile. Well done and thanks team.

Nicholas & his team at Hamilton EV were fantastic to deal with from start to finish helping us purchase our first Electric car. They go above and beyond with nothing being to much trouble. From helping download the app for charging stations and explained how it all works and all the car features. The after sale support is amazing and you don't get that at other car dealerships. we are very happy with our purchase and highly recommend people check our their range of cars.

Very EXCELLENT experience. Nicholas is very helpful and thoughtful. We just move here and our original car is delivery on the way. We want to have an EV to test whether it fits us or not. Nicholas lets us test-driving for couple of days (due to lockdown, actually weeks). Finally, we get our first EV here. The EV has 5-year battery warranty, life-long WOF and general maintenance. The EV also has wheel adjustment etc. We are very lucky and happy to on board: thanks, Nicholas.

Purchasing our Leaf from Nicholas and Jody-Ann at Hamilton EV was an amazingly pleasant and educational experience. They really do have the know-how combined with brilliant customer service leaving you feeling informed and satisfied you've gotten a great deal. I recommend them 100% for anyone buying their first, second, or even umpteenth EV. I wouldn't purchase from anyone else.

Buying an EV from Hamilton EV was a fun and educational experience right from the start. Nicholas is an excellent communicator and its easy to be swept along by his enthusiasm for EVs. However, he doesn't do a hard sell - simply explains the intricacies of running an electric car in a way that even I could understand. I like the company's attitude and its focus on guaranteed service for the life of the vehicle - that's real value!

What a great experience buying my 62kwh Leaf. Nicholas was so good at explaining everything. Absolutely no pressure. "Take it for a test drive for several days" he said. Don't buy an EV anywhere else. Especially with free WOF and servicing for life! Andy and Belinda Freeman

Nicholas was careful to explain what would be done in the service and the cost involved and rang to explain extra items needed to pass the WOF (which was part of the package) and to get my ok to go ahead with the replacement of two tyres (the main extra item).Should now be good for another 100000 kms.

Excellent and hassle free service. Replaced my dead 12V Battery and I got a home charger from them as well. The car dealer who sold me the car never provides me with a New Zealand charger. Highly recommend Nicolas and Hamilton EV to all the EV drivers and who want to start an EV journey in Hamilton. Another excellent service, helped me replace my flat tyre within 2 hours, so I am not running late for an important appointment. Really saved my day!
